Vox Marmoris festival brings together light, sound and space in a blend of artistic media
Vox Marmoris 2022, the famous electronic music party, returned with its fifth edition. The event offered a unique experience thanks to the collaboration with IED Milan, an institute of design and visual communication.
Successori Adolfo Corsi, a location with a strong visual impact
A location with a strong visual and historical impact, the Successori Adolfo Corsi marble warehouse in Colonnata, in the Carrara region, will be the setting for the event on Saturday 30 July. This unusual location proves to be perfect for creating an evocative and fascinating atmosphere.
The partnership with IED Milan
For the first time, Vox Marmoris has teamed up with IED Milan, offering Video Design and Sound Design students the opportunity to participate in a specific open call. The young creatives submitted their audio and video projects, which were selected by the Vox Marmoris staff to be realised live during the event. Four students were chosen and travelled to Tuscany a few days before the party to record sounds and images directly at the Carrara quarries. This material was then used to create unique and exciting live performances.
The encounter between music and visual arts
During Vox Marmoris 2022, music and visual arts merged together, creating an immersive show that lasted from 20:00 until late at night. A line-up of international and local artists took turns on stage, offering the audience an extraordinary experience. The aim of the event was to redefine the territory, creating a unique link between the individual, sound, space and visual arts.
Vox Marmoris 2022 was an unmissable opportunity to immerse oneself in an unprecedented multi-sensory experience. The collaboration with IED Milan and the inclusion of students' creative projects gave the event an innovative and stimulating touch.
If you are passionate about electronic music, visual art and want to live a unique experience, do not miss Vox Marmoris 2023, an extraordinary journey through sounds and images from the suggestive quarries of Carrara.
